Experience Program "Fate Hour"
From the first moment, it will draw you into the tense atmosphere of the Cold War, a period full of uncertainty, doubts and tension. Imagine being a key worker in one of the most important communication centers, where every decision can have far-reaching consequences!?
During the Cold War, when the threat of nuclear catastrophe was ever-present, careful thinking and quick reactions were needed. Many people today no longer realize how close the world was to total devastation.
What influence would you have in such a scenario? How would you decide? Through the Fateful Hour program, you will get a unique insight into life and work in a secret anti-nuclear bunker of the 1970s. And in the backdrop of a real building that fulfilled this function until the 1990s.
You will find yourself in situations where your skills, intuition and decision-making will be crucial. The fate of the world hangs in the balance and it is up to you in which direction history will unfold. Test whether you could keep a calm head and make the right decisions in the most tense moments of the Cold War.
The program is implemented in cooperation with the Fortress of Knowledge and is suitable for pupils of the second level of primary schools and for secondary school students . The program also includes a tour of the Přáslavice bunker.
